Power over Ethernet (PoE) Technology

Given the growing demands of energy saving operator interface devices from automation plants, AIS has designed series of PoE HMI terminals that consumes less power than that of normal industrial panel pc. Traditional industrial panel pc consumes around 65W~120W depending on the type of CPU chip set and the size of the touch LCD monitor. Now, AIS’ engineers have engineered series of panel pc that is compact, low power consumption (10W~20W) and rugged fanless operation Panel PC powered by RJ45 Ethernet cable.

AIS PoE operator interfaces’ power requirements falls within the power specified in the IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE industry standard. With PSE switch, our PoE panel pc is designed to work on existing networks LAN structure utilizing RJ45 connector. This allows our PoE panel pc systems to be easily implement, as well as help facilitate energy saving and lower operation cost in the long run.
