Manufacturing Engineering
AIS engineering services coordinates engineering review of private development projects, planning applications, and environmental studies. We innovate on client offerings, transform the way in which they engineer these offerings and optimize execution to deliver distinctive solutions and ensure measurable business value.
ANSYS SIwave
- AIS design processes utilize advanced ANSYS SIware tools for product reliability and design robustness
- Signal- and power-integrity analysis for high-performance PCBs and IC packages
ANSYS PI Advisor
- Full-wave electromagnetic field solver solution can automatically optimize package and board decoupling capacitors using a ground breaking genetic algorithm
Prevent EMI/EMC
- Electromagnetic interference/compatibility testing can be performed for both near- and far-field problems
- To provide accurate, detailed descriptions of field interactions above and below boards and packages
Power Validation
AIS design process checklists implemented for power validation
- To check power sequence
- To measure power characteristic
- To access conversion efficiency
- To test product function
- To estimate capacitor reliability
- To validate test report
Engineering Validation
AIS' engineers perform preliminary assessments in accordance with the relevant standards
- To check the device under test (DUT) status
- To select the measurement point, the fixture to measure signals for SATA, PCI-E, USB, LAN, IEEE802 and etc.
- To select probe and scope
- To validate test report
Temperature & Humidity Chambers
AIS' temperature and humidity environmental test chambers are able to provide rapid product temperature change rates and use varying levels of relative humidity to locate design problems prior to shipping your products, improving product quality and reliability
- Test chambers feature precise temperature and humidity control to create repeatable environmental conditions
- Test chambers are suitable for numerous applications, including product shelf life, stability and package testing, light exposure and temperature evaluation studies, electronic component burn-in, and TAPPI testing
EMI/EMC Compliance Assurance
AIS' engineers perform preliminary assessments in accordance with the relevant standards
- Pre-compliance testing reduces the risk of failing certification
- Pre-compliance testing allows you to make changes during the design phase based upon real-world test results
- Pre-compliance testing can focus on the areas that you are concerned may cause problems
- Pre-compliance testing concentrates on identifying solutions rather than finding problems
- Pre-compliance testing makes certification a less nail-biting experience
Ingress Protection
AIS engineers comply with IEC/EN 60529 standards
- International Protection Rating consists of the letters IP followed by two digits or one digit and one letter and an optional letter. As defined in international standard IEC 60529, IP Code classifies and rates the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects (including body parts like hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water in mechanical casings and with electrical enclosures
- The standard aims to provide users more detailed information than vague marketing terms such as waterproof
- The digits (characteristic numerals) indicate conformity with the conditions
Dustproof
AIS engineers comply with IEC/EN 60529 standards
- The purpose of the dust-proof test is to create a flow air through an enclosure by specified standards about volumes and hours. It is intended for determining the degree of harmful deposits of dust (IP5x) and against ingress of dust (IP6x)
- The dust-proof test is to protect against solid foreign objects under a 1 m^3 chamber by using 2kg Talcum powder as dust source; maximum depression at -20 mbar and test duration of 8 hours. The test follows IEC 60529 Edition 2.1 : 2001-02-IP6x
Vibration, Shock & Drop
AIS engineers comply with IEC-68-2-6 and IEC-68-2-36 standards
- AIS has complete vibration test systems, including electro dynamic shaker systems, shock and vibration controllers, Horizontal slip table assemblies, long stroke thrusters, head expanders, power amplifiers, transducer calibration systems, accelerometers and instrumentation.
- AIS vibration complies with IEC-68-2-6 and simulates the product on a ship to verify resonance search and resonance dwell of a product’s structure. Random vibration complies with IEC-68-2-36 and simulates the product in transportation situations in order to test the packaged product’s vibration endurance
Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT)
AIS engineers using HALT stress testing methodology to accelerate product reliability testing during the engineering development process
- Cold step
- Hot step
- Rapid temperature cycling
- Stepped vibration (random)
- Combined environment stress (temperature cycling and random vibration plus power switching and power margining)
