AIS Joins Forces with ASI to launch New T-Series Panel PCs

Fremont, CA – October 17, 2006 - ASI Corp., a leading distributor of computer components and peripheral products in North America, formally announced today that it has signed a distribution agreement with AIS (American Industrial Systems), manufacturer of rack-mounted LCD monitors, KVM Console LCD Monitors, Panel PC, and Digital Signage. Under terms of the agreement, ASI Corp will provide complete distribution support for AIS products in North America.

AIS officially announced that ASI will start to distribute the new AIS all in one Panel PCs – Intelligent T Series – Bare Bone Systems targeted at VAR and OEMs who provide solutions to vertical market. It will provide reliable performance and cost effective design that meet or exceed the demands of the HMI Factory Automations, Medical HMI solutions and Interactive/ POS/ Kiosks industry.

For maximum performance, the AIS Panel PC features power by Intel® Pentium® M processor, 8.4-inch to 42-inch TFT display integrated with touch-screen technology and optional with sunlight readable and high brightness solutions. The rugged all-aluminum NEMA 4 and IP65 enclosure provides unparalleled heat transfer capabilities and repels fumes, moisture and harsh particulates routinely encountered in extreme conditions.
