AIS Releases a 10.4” Forklift Vehicle Mount Computer Equipped with Wireless Technology for Warehouse Logistics, Inventory Control & Monitor, and Operational Applications

The 10.4" industrial operator panel is designed for rugged vehicle and forklift systems that require IP65 / NEMA 4 rated sealing standards for water and dust protection, capable of operating in harsh environments. In additional to sealing the display is complaint with military (MIL-STD-810F) ratings for vibration, shock, and drop resistance, critical for long life performance. HMI touch screen capability is built-into the rugged vehicle system, allowing users to control and monitor real-time data. The ultra-rugged vehicle display is available commercially off the shelf (COTS), enabling immediate deployment and reduce time to market.

A rugged aluminum alloy housing protects the internal components; meeting Military Standard 810F specs for anti-shock and vibration requirements. The front bezel is sealed to IP65/NEMA 4 ingress protection ratings for excellent water and dustproof standards. Powering the rugged computer is a high performance fanless Intel Atom processor designed for long product life cycle and reliable operation in industrial conditions.

Staying connected is simple with built-in dual gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n wireless support, and a wide array of I/O connections on the rear for external peripherals such as barcode scanners and radio frequency identification (RFID) systems. AIS’ vehicle computer system accepts a wide operating temperature range from -25 to 55 degrees Celsius for easy deployment into a variety of warehouse adverse environmental conditions. The commercially available rugged touch screen vehicle computers provide a cost effective, long life cycle system for logistics, warehousing, vehicles, transportation, and industrial industries where performance and reliability are paramount.
