AIS Releases an Operator Interface Terminal Featuring the Intel® Atom™ Processor and Windows 7 Technologies for OEMs in Industrial Automation, Plant Process Control, and Instrumentation Applications

IRVINE, CA -- American Industrial Systems Inc. (AIS), has introduced an Industrial Operator Panel PC line for industrial automation and PLC control. The HMI Panel PC's feature the Intel® Atom processors providing fanless, reliable performance with minimal power consumption. The latest Windows 7 operating systems are supported by the industrial LCD panel pc. Currently the PC Control Systems are available in 8.4" to 19" dimensions, and are touchscreen enabled, giving users a HMI terminal for operators to monitor, control, and program data into the system. The all-in-one PLC terminals are pre-designed and are available in several configurations for drop-in replacement or new deployment applications.

The AIS embedded PC's feature a rugged steel housing and have the available options of a IP65 sealable Aluminum Bezel for excellent water/dustproof protection; enabling the systems to operate in the most harsh environments. Several additional mechanical designs are also available, providing additional options to mounting and integration. The fanless Intel® Atom Processor provides excellent cost vs. performance ratio in additional to exemplary reliability in the field.

AIS' industrial grade panel pc's are designed to be reliable, long lifetime support and availability, high performance, easily programmable and accessed supporting a non-proprietary-hardware based solution.
